If you get an error like this during installation:
Error 1931. The Windows Installer service cannot update the system file C:\WINDOWS\System32\xxxxx.dll because the file is protected by Windows. You may need to update your operating system for the program to work correctly.
for one or more of these files:
. msxml.dll (used for fetching torrent links from AnimeSuki.com)
. scrrun.dll (used for generating lists and data importing)
. wininet.dll (used for fetching info data from AnimeNfo.com)
Ignore the error, run the program, and if the function stated above with
the particular file you've got an error is running fine, it's okay then.

Many have reported on the errors 6 (Overflow). I have tested out My
Anime List with every computer I could get access to but I could not
reproduce the error. I am asking for kind users out there who are willing
to work with me to resolve this issue. Send me an email to leezhenyang@hotmail.com with a big "MYANIMELIST" in the subject or it
will end up in spam folder. Thank you. |

. For list editing (Music, Website, Field Mapping, Optional Fields, Custom
Values, Import from Excel XLS screens contain a list), use the 'Insert'
key to insert a new line, 'Delete' key to delete a line. 'Enter' key or
double click to edit a line. |

Prior to version 1.8.2, you do not need to backup anything when upgrading
to a newer version of My Anime List. Though it is still advisable to backup "myanimelist.mdb" from the program directory (e.g. "C:\Program Files\My Anime List") before you perform version upgrade.
